Baltic Business Forum 2019 EN

Baltic Business Forum invites experts, business, government both central and local as well as NGOs representatives from over a dozen countries in Europe and Asia to the 10th annual conference! We host former and present presidents, ministers, heads of government agencies, diplomats and local governors every year. Most of all, BBF’s offer is aimed at entrepreneurs.

The Idea of the BBF is to strenghten economic cooperation in the ABC region: Adriatic, Baltic, Black Sea. The region contains EU countries but also important economies outside the Union - Ukraine and Turkey.

The main prerequisite for economic cooperation in the region mentioned above are issues such as the construction of transport and energy infrastructure at the North-South Axxis, complementing traditional pathways between eastern and western Europe. Those investment are being developed thanks to EU funding, local authority engagement, mobilizing capital markets as well as the creation of the Three-sea Fund.

West-Pomeranian Voivodeship and Świnoujście have become a transport-energy hub. LNG Terminal, Gas North Gate exit, new transmission gas pipelines, wind farms, the tunnel and container terminal in Świnoujście give enough reason to debate on the situation of Poland, the EU and the ABB region.
